Fantastic results from a long days rowing. The conditions were much better than last year, albeit very cold, particularly during the long waits at the start. A lone sea-loin provided entertainment to all the waiting boats.
Well done to coach Mike in preparing everyone so well for their first outing of the year. Yesterday was a long day coming especially for 4 boys from whom it was their first HOR – Jack, Shane, Sean and Conor (Murphy). You all acquitted yourselves very well. Roll on next race – Galway HOR on March 16th.
Particular thanks to Ben and Marie O’Sullivan for pulling the boats down first thing, very early in the morning, and being last to leave with all the boats in the evening. Without them, we wouldn’t have been in Cork.
And lastly, well done to cox Katie Fay, for another greats days work.
