Monika Dukarska is also competing this weekend racing in the Women’s Double Scull event for Ireland at the World Cup II event in France. After the 10th place finish at the European Rowing Championships in Serbia, the women’s double set up has been changed with Monika being put in the stroke position in the boat. This means that Monika will be responsible for rhythm and pace in the boat. The girls are competing against 16 competitors from the following countries: Australia, Belarus, Poland, Netherlands, France, Austria, Germany, China, Denmark, Finland, New Zealand, USA, Great Britain, with Germany and China putting two boats in this event.
The girls are travelling to France on Tuesday this week.
There is no doubt it will be tough event but the girls have regrouped after the European Championships and are ready again to take on the world!
