We were blessed with a glorious sunny day for the return of the Kerry Head of the River on the 11th March. We had 90 entries from SMRC, Fermoy, Lee Valley, Muckross, Tralee, Workmens, Kenmare, Commericals, St. Brendan’s and Flesk Valley. It was very well supported and ran like clockwork and we want to say big thank you to all the clubs, rowers, parents and supporters for attending the event, racing and helping out. The event could not happen without your support and it is always greatly appreciated; the event was a marvellous success and thanks to your cooperation and enthusiasm towards rowing and racing it is scheduled again for January 27th 2018.
The results are now available on the Rowing Ireland website: http://www.rowingireland.ie/…/_2017%20Kerry%20Head%20of%20t… and on our Twitter page @killorglinrowin.
You can also see more photographs up on our Facebook page and a big thank you to @velocitylens and #JustLookAtTheLensPhotography for the superb photos.
We hope you enjoyed this sunny, calm and warm Saturday afternoon and we look forward to seeing you all at races throughout the year. Well done to you all and best of luck for the rest of the season.
