FIRST TRAINING SESSION? WHAT IS NEEDED?

Gear:

During the winter ensure that you have plenty of layers. Wear leggings, tight t-shirts and long sleeve tops. Hats are also handy. Make sure the clothing is tight so that the oar handle does not get caught in it.

During the summer wear shorts and short sleeve tops or a rowing suit (which you can purchase on a Godfrey website (check the link section on our blog for the link)) wear a cap or sunglasses and a sun cream.

Shoes – trainers are ideal for gym training

Food/ Hydration

Always have a bottle of water with you and a snack. A snack could be an energy bar or a piece of fruit.
